Scheduling and Messaging Portal: Existing clients can send secure, private messages to Dr. Hostler, and can also schedule or cancel appointments by going to our CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS PORTAL. New clients must first contact our office to schedule an appointment, but can use the portal to check availability of appointments.
Born and raised in south central Pennsylvania, Dr. Hostler received a bachelor’s degree from Messiah College. She obtained Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois. She completed an internship and a post-doctoral internship at Philhaven Hospital and currently lives in the Mechanicsburg area with her husband and children.
Dr. Hostler enjoys working with couples and families, as well as children through older adults. She has experience in providing services as part of an interdisciplinary team in outpatient and inpatient treatment, as well as a church-based counseling ministry. Dr. Hostler works with a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and sexuality-related issues. In particular, Dr. Hostler seeks to encourage the development and maintenance of healthy patterns of relating to the self and others, especially in marriage, parental, familial, and faith-based relationships. Psychological evaluations for purposes of diagnostic clarification, personality characterization, cognitive functioning, or neuropsychological screening are also part of Dr. Hostler’s clinical repertoire.
