Our office support is generally available by phone or email Monday through Friday approximately from 9:00am – 3pm. Our HIPAA-compliant Answering Service is available to take messages outside of typical business hours. When leaving a message, please be brief and offer clear instructions. Leave only your name and phone number, the therapist you are trying to reach, and the best time to reach you. You may also leave a very brief message of 1-2 sentences.
Given that phone calls to therapists are not taken when in session, your therapist will not be immediately available when you call, unless you have previously scheduled a time to connect. Your therapist will make every effort to return your call on the same day, with the exception of weekends and holidays. How to communicate with your therapist securely (by email) will be explained at the first session. For established clients with urgent needs, you will have 24/7 access to a PHA on-call therapist. For life-threatening emergencies where seconds count, call 911.
