Scheduling and Messaging Portal: Existing clients can send secure, private messages to Mrs. Winters, and can also schedule or cancel appointments by going to our CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS PORTAL. New clients must first contact our office to schedule an appointment, but can use the portal to check availability of appointments.
Born and raised in Western Michigan, Kim received her bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and spent time in the field of broadcasting as well as camping ministry before obtaining her Master’s degree in Counseling at Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, PA. Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Trauma Focused CBT Therapist (TF-CBT). Kim is also working on certification in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT).
Kim works with adults, adolescents, couples and families. She has experience as part of an outpatient drug and alcohol team and is a trained Facilitator for a SMART Recovery support group that meets each week in Lemoyne, PA.
Kim enjoys working with a broad range of issues including addiction, recovery from trauma, complex grief, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, crime and delinquency and suicidality. She is a trained mediator for the PA Office of the Victims Advocate Victim Offender Dialogue Program and she recently completed a Citizens Police Academy with her local police force.
